59 RESERVE PICKUPS

The choice of today's modern player. These pickups are tried and tested by professional players. A fully balanced set of pickups that deliver clarity and dynamics, that will cut through the mix in all positions. These pickups have the punch and fatness of so called hot pickups but in a vintage design. Each pickup is built one at a time with meticulous precision and attention to detail and wind consistency.

Capacitance Wound Pickups- Designed using inductance and capacitance in the coil to produce punch, fatness and clarity at the same time, a very unique tone that is not found in most other pickups.

59 Reserve V.1 This is the Set used by Matt Schofield.

59 Reserve V.2 This Set uses the same MIDDLE/BRIDGE pickup as V.1 but has less winds on the neck position to add to a more calibrated set with better balance from neck to bridge.

I can now offer partial payment options via PayPal spread over 28 days, please contact me through my email if you are interested in this, thank you.

Guitar cable <90pf/m

Useful Information To Consider

I call my pickups capacitance wound NOT to be confused with scatterwound.

Consistency, consistency, most important when winding pickups.

Scatterwound by hand can NEVER be consistent due to the nature of random layering of coil wire. If a pickup is scatterwound it can never be guaranteed that the pickup just wound will be the same as the one wound previously! Capacitance winding guarantees the pickups will all be within spec and consistent.

I will qualify this statement, if you look at the formula for Resonant Frequency you will see that 2 x 3.142 always remains constant, but L (Inductance) & C ( Capacitance) can vary, so any change to these units will alter F (Frequency). So when you scatterwind you will end up with different coil capacitance period, this means that it will alter the resonant Frequency. DCR of a pickup means nothing apart from you have a closed circuit, the important units are Inductance and Capacitance. The only way to get consistency is to keep these units within spec.
